ServoSkull - Warhammer 40k - UE 5.5

Unlike many other, my love for the 40k franchise started just a couple of years back. I found a youtube video doing a description of each Astartes legion, and I just went straight into the the rabbit hole that is 40k lore. I can say without a doubt that I'm a big fan of the story built around this universe for the last 40 years. I wanted to do something with it despearately.
I started back in January on this character, and it has been a true joy to work on. It´s always a hustle to balance family, work and projects, but I was having such fun creating this unfortunate but cool ServoSkull. I can't thank enough my colleagues Josu Martin Uria and Juan Manuel Cervilla Muros for their unvaluable tips and advice when I was stuck on the sculpting and animation of the character. As I progressed, I realized that I wanted to do a full short (which was a goal of mine) but realized that I couldn't spend the time making the environment from scratch. Thankfully, Epic has a great library of free levels and environments, and the DarkRuins setup was a magnificent fit. I will update that short in a separate post so that this remains more detail oriented.
I produced a small shor with it, which I will update in a separate post.
I will also take the chance to say that this is a parallel project, and I will be working for the next year or so to bring up an even more ambitiuos story based in the 40k universe.

Texture pass in substance, I tried to go for an old object, that has seen the pass of time, but at the same time has been well mantained by the Mechanicus.

Final sculpt in Zbrush, I got great advice from my colleague Josu to sculpt and add the details in a believable manner. In short, always follow the story!
